ABOUT US

The Clifton Kitchen opened in May 2010, but the colourful history behind this lively Bristol venture began decades ago when Keith Floyd established his legendary bistro at the verysame address in the 1970s. A plaque to commemorate the legacy left behind by the UK’s original celebrity chef was unveiled on the site in October 2010, while Floyd fans (and they are legion) can read all about the restaurant’s previous incarnation in his 2009  autobiography ‘Stirred but not Shaken’.

Today’s incarnation of the Clifton  Kitchen at 112 Princess Victoria Street wholeheartedly embraces the parables of the past: It’s relaxed, friendly, fun, unpretentious and best of the all, the food’s good too.

We can also cater for larger groups up to a maximum of 12 people.*
